Give in to Your Sweet Tooth with Dairy/Gluten/Soy-Free 'Chocolate Milk'... or Chocolate Martini. ;)

I'm not really a dessert girl. BUT, every once in a while I just need something sweet ... that isn't a piece of fruit! This Paleo Thin Protein Powder in Double Chocolate in almond milk totally does the trick. It's the only one I've found that is free of gluten, soy, and dairy that actually tastes chocolaty... not chalky. Plus, you can warm it without it breaking up to enjoy a warm, comforting cup of hot cocoa!
To be totally honest, I've even used this to make the occasional Chocolate or Almond Joy martini. ;)
Like most protein powders, it mixes more smoothly if you use a blender rather than just stirring it with a spoon or shaking. I like to add in a scoop of probiotic powder and my L-Glutamine to up the health and healing factors.
I hate using the noisy blender (you know, headaches) so I make a double batch and keep it in a covered pitcher in the fridge. Sometimes, I'll make it a bit thicker so I can lighten it up to taste as needed with extra almond milk.
I still haven't gotten around to trying all of the other flavors such as Coconut Cream, Pumpkin Pie, Glazed Donut, Cinnamon Roll, Espresso and Vanilla.
NOTE: They do make a vegan version, too!
